20th Anniversary Celebration

The Epsilon Pi Chapter of Beta Theta Pi, at University of California Santa Barbara, formally invites you to their 20th Anniversary on April 24th – 26th. The UCSB campus was colonized in the winter quarter of 1989, and has been a thriving chapter of Beta ever since. The dynamic ability of this chapter to succeed and innovate is the key to its success. The 20th anniversary gives us a chance celebrate and to reconnect to many of our chapter’s alumni and also local alumni on the central coast. Our event coincides with the UCSB Alumni Association, which is hosting events, performances, sports events, and lectures.

The Epsilon Pi chapter enjoys a diverse and powerful membership as the leading Fraternity at UCSB. In an environment that can be distracting and amazing, Beta is a shining example of the best that can be. Our chapter regularly participates in community service, charity fundraiser's and hosts its own baseball tournament that the entire UCSB community enjoys. The Chapter is thriving on the diligence of the men in it and the support from those outside it. Whether a parent, chapter advisor, alumni, or a person who can see the value of Beta, every bit makes a difference.

I hope that you can take the time to help us celebrate this great event. There will be an open house on Friday, April 24th, in the evening to meet the current brothers in a casual environment. On Saturday there will be a dinner, presentation, and auction of Beta memorabilia. Finally on Sunday there will be a chance to say goodbye with a reception and farewell. The cost of the event is $50 with an additional fee of $25 per guest. Giving Back:

Consider giving back to the fraternity by becoming a member of our alumni giving club. For as little as 33 cents a day you can help fund alumni gatherings, recruitments events and leadership programs. Members of the alumni giving clubs are recognized with their names published on the chapter web site and in all chapter newsletters and letters to alumni. Additionally, by the joining the bridge-builders giving club you will never have to pay registration costs for any alumni gathering or chapter events. Bridge-builders also receive a free t-shirt at the alumni reunion.

Volunteer

We are continually looking for individuals who live within the Santa barbara region who are interested in becoming chapter advisors. Chapter advisors meet with the chapter approximately once every 5 weeks for an hour or so to help the chapter leadership and keep us in line. If you are interested in volunteering your time please contact the chapter.

If you have a new phone number, have moved recently or changed your email address update your alumni information (update). You don't have to be an alumni of Epsilon Pi to use the update system.
